Washing Most Clothing Items:

Unless otherwise noted, I recommend handwashing clothes in cold or cool water with mild detergent and hang or lay flat to dry without wringing. This prevents adding extra wrinkles, especially on cotton and linen. Iron as needed.

Washing Hand Embroidered Items

Handwash in cold water with mild detergent. Lay flat between layers of white terrycloth towel to press out excess water. While still wet, press with dry hot iron, embroidery side down into clean white terry cloth towel. After pressing, hang or lay flat to dry completely.
